Connecting Our Community to the Workforce

Pathways to U.S. Citizenship

The Center for Career Transformation Civics Program promotes civic knowledge and engagement in the community. Participants gain confidence in U.S. history, government, and civic responsibilities, while building English skills and interview readiness. This support helps individuals succeed in the naturalization process and become active, informed citizens.

Bilingual Education Institute Oversight

The Center for Career Transformation (CCT) was established in 2016 to expand Bilingual Education Institute’s (BEI) services into the greater Houston community. All CCT programs and services are based upon the extensive 35-year experience of BEI in providing ESL/Civic classes to thousands of new immigrants, refugee, asylees, trafficking victims, and visitors from abroad who represent all social, educational, ethnic, and economic levels. CCT follows the same standards of accreditation and has access to the same resources as BEI. BEI provides oversight in curriculum development, and monitoring and evaluation of services provided by CCT to ensure quality and successful outcomes.
